The Creation of Adam is a section of Michelangelo's fresco Sistine Chapel ceiling painted circa 1511. It illustrates the Biblical story from the Book of Genesis in which God the Father breathes life into Adam, the first man.
Michaelangelo 1475 - 1564:
Michelangelo was one of the most inspired creators in the history of art and, with Leonardo da Vinci, the most potent force in the Italian High Renaissance. As a sculptor, architect, painter, and poet;
Michaelangelo exerted a tremendous influence on his contemporaries and on subsequent Western art in general. A Florentine-although born March 6, 1475, in the small village of Caprese near Arezzo-Michelangelo continued to have a deep attachment to his city, its art, and its culture throughout his long life.
Michaelangelo's Paintings On The Sistine Chapel have always amazes me.
The Pictures shown on my blog relates a thousand words of my thoughts towards his amazing art >>>>>>
